NARCEDALIA RODRIGUEZ
Narcedalia has 25 years of higher education experience, with a substantial background in diversity, equity, and inclusion. She recently retired from Pacific University as the Vice President of Student Affairs and Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer. Prior to Pacific University, she previously served as the Dean of Student Development at Portland Community College, Rock Creek Campus. Her other roles at Portland Community College included Interim Campus President, Retention and Multicultural Coordinator, and Program Advisor for the College Assistance Migrant Program. She also held positions at Portland State University and Oregon State University, including adjunct instructor for Chicano Latino Studies.
She holds a master of arts in interdisciplinary studies—higher education administration and women studies—from Oregon State University, as well as a bachelor's in sociology and Spanish (also from OSU). Actively involved in her community, she serves as a board member for Centro Cultural, Board member for Vision Action Network, and is also an elected official for the Forest Grove School District Board of Directors.
Narcedalia is a mother, wife of a retired Veteran partner, grandmother, sister, and daughter of Jesus Rodriguez and Guadalupe Guzman, whom she honors for all the sacrifices they have endured as former migrant workers seeking a better life for their children.
