DR. OLGA L. ACUÑA
Olga has lived in Hillsboro since 1980 and has always been actively involved in the community in various ways. Olga served on the planning committee for Liberty High School, was chosen to begin the Office of Hispanic Outreach in the Hillsboro School District and served on the Hillsboro 2020 Vision Implementation Committee. She currently serves as interim president of the Latino Policy Council, sits on the City of Hillsboro’s Budget Committee, City of Hillsboro’s Affordable Housing Project Advisory Committee, Washington County Community Housing Fund Board, Hillsboro Police Department’s Mediation Advisory Committee, and the Washington County Early Learning Steering Committee. She also served two four-four year terms as City of Hillsboro Councilwoman.
Olga graduated from Glencoe High School and obtained her undergraduate degree from Oregon State University. She completed her master’s degree in Special Education at Portland State University and then later completed her school administration credential and doctoral degree at Lewis and Clark College. Olga currently works for the Hillsboro School District as Director of Federal Programs.
Dr. Olga L. Acuña has lived in Oregon since 1980 and since graduating from high school, she has always been actively involved in the community in a variety of ways. She has served on planning committees and Boards, and served two four-year terms as City of Hillsboro Councilwoman.
Olga obtained her undergraduate degree from Oregon State University, completed her master’s degree in Special Education at Portland State University and then later completed her school administration credential and doctoral degree at Lewis and Clark College.
Olga currently works for the Hillsboro School District as Executive Director of Federal Programs.
